VIRBAC Epi-Otic Ear & Skin Cleanser is a mild, nonirritating, cleansing and drying solution formulated to remove crusts and excessive cerumen. May be used for routine cleaning in healthy ear canals or prior to administration of other otitis externa treatments. Low pH and contains no chlorhexidine or alcohol. Contains 2.7% lactic acid and 0.1% salicylic acid. Labeled for use on dogs and cats of any age.
A well-tolerated, efficient ear cleanser that facilitates the removal of cellular debris and excessive wax as well as the drying of the ear canal. The inclusion of monosaccharides has a soothing effect (anti-irritant) as well as limiting the bonding of microorganisms (anti-adhesive) to the skin surface. Because of its neutral pH, EPI-OTIC® Ear Cleanser should not interfere with other ear preparations.
